As an entrepreneur - turned - law student in his 30s at the University of California, Los Angeles School of Law, Dean had multiple experiences prior and during law school witnessed firsthand how traditional legal tools and processes were becoming barriers rather than bridges to justice.

Frustrated by the disconnect between cutting-edge AI technology and cost-prohibitive legal services, Dean assembled a team of legal minds, technologists, operators, and innovators.
